Tixall & Ingestre Village Hall

The Tixall Village Hall is available for hire at £10 hour including heating and electricity.. A returnable cash deposit of £50 is usually required to ensure the Hall is left in good order. There are 10 folding tables, 6ft x 3ft and 3 smaller tables 3ft x 3ft 40 fabric chairs and 18 plastic chairs.
There is a fully functioning kitchen that has a fridge and electric cooker. There is crockery and cutlery for 40 people.
There are separate toilets for ladies, men and disabled with in the hall.
The hall is centrally heated and will be switched on ready for your use in cold weather.
There is car parking on site at the hall which includes space for disabled parking.
In order not to disturb local residents there is a 10.30pm curfew with rare bookings requiring this to be extended having to be considered individually by the Hall Trustees and having to pay double the normal hire rate after 10.30pm.
Venue Rooms
Main Hall
The main hall is ~30ft x ~20ft [~9m x ~6m]and 10ft [3m] high and has a hearing loop. It comfortably accommodates 40 seated at tables. There is a maximum of 60 people due to fire regulations.
This hall is ideal for larger meetings, group activities and use by clubs for regular events.
The room is well lit with lots of natural light as well as lighting for use when required. There are plenty of electric sockets available around the hall. There is also a sunken socket on the floor to allow for video displays.
The entire hall is provided with free WIFI for all users to have access to.
The main hall can be separated from the smaller committee room by using the folding doors.
Committe Room
The committee room is ~18ft x ~12ft x ~8ft high [5cm x 4m x 2m].
This room is ideal for small meetings.
The room lends itself as an ideal location to serve your buffet food if using the main hall for a larger function. Access from the room is direct to the kitchen making it easier for food service.
This room is separated from the main hall by folding doors. This enables the committee room to be used separately for a small meeting.
It also allows food service preparation to be carried out easily away from the main room ready for service later.
Kitchen
The kitchen has cutlery, cups, saucers, side plates, dinner plates and bowls for 40. There is a cooker and refrigerator and a serving hatch into the main hall.
Access to the smaller meeting room is next to the kitchen. This is an ideal location for to allow you to set your buffet in the small meeting room.
The kitchen has a door leading directly to the car park. This allows easy access for food delivery for your buffet to be brought into the kitchen ready for service.
Facilities
The building has oil central heating. There is disabled parking, a ramp entrance and a disabled toilet off the main hall. Outside is an enclosed grass area with bench seat.
